I miss your feet tangled with mine under the sheets
Your hair plugging the drain
The grey streaks that live underneath the chemical dye
I miss your hand in mine as I drive
Your shoes in the entryway
The dishes I washed after you made dinner
I miss feeling like we’re the only two people who get each other
Your head in my lap
The complete feeling I got when you left me a note
But most of all dear, I miss laughing with you
Some people who need to play this game: Republicans, the tea party, Justin Bieber, anyone who thinks Lost in Translation was a good movie, people who watch Duck Dynasty, racists, Florida, anyone who wears bedazzled jeans or Ed Hardy and every douche bag who owns a Nor Cal hat or t-shirt.
I’m sure I left a lot of people out but it’s a good start.
Selling anything on Craigslist makes me sad for humankind. I have a child carrier backpack listed for sale at $100. It’s listed “For Sale”, not for “Trade” or “Free”.
Shhhhh let natural selection happen
Where seniors eat? All those shitty chairs and tennis balls sort of throw off the nice new floor.
I can think of a few people I’d like to invite to this game.
Time for some Otis!
Anyone who doesn’t have regret lacks the self-awareness to learn from mistakes. Just because you wanted it doesn’t mean it was a good idea. We all do dumb shit we regret. Don’t play it off like a pompous ass. Own it.
